The Hobbit: One Last Time

This afternoon I went to the third movie in the Hobbit trilogy, The Battle Of The Five Armies! I cried very much :) I am a HUGE Lord Of The Rings fan, and I wasn't really impressed with the first two Hobbit's, but this one was very good! The best thing by far though was getting to hang out with my girls! I love them so much and we had a blast :) Also, we are going to pick Daniel up tonight at the airport!!!! The Guy Who Makes Christmas More Than A Store!

"Maybe Christmas doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas perhaps means a little bit more." Tonight I got to start out my Christmas week by spending time with the birthday boy at the teen event, Ablaze! I just love you Jesus! I am so excited to celebrate your birth :) If you haven't already, try and spend some time alone with the guy who makes Christmas more than a store! Christmas Break!

I am officially done with school! So ready for siblings to come home, hot chocolatety evenings, and cookie baking :) Christmas, here I come!!!!

ChristmasTree Hunting

We came, we looked, we sawed, and we conquered! Our Christmas tree hunting was a success and we now have it up in the living room! It was perfect timing, because right after getting home, I got sick.  So now looking at it can make me feel better :)  Pictures from this mission are displayed below!

The only thing missing in this day was Daniel, who could not come home for getting a tree, which made me sad. But he is coming home in 8 days, and I am bouncing off the walls!!!! Yep, The Lord Provides

In my life I never would have thought I would have met Jason Evert TWICE, and now I know the fact that God is good! He is such a good man with a heart for the Lord and the youth! *Sigh* Yep, just another normal homeschool Thursday afternoon hanging with Jason Evert :) And yes, I am still freaking out :D  #Catholiccelebrityprobs! Who Would Have Thought British Literature Would Be This Fun!?!?!

So this semester I have been taking a class called British Literature, and it has been a blast! This last Thursday was our last class, and to celebrate we had a English style tea party!  I was really impressed with the three guys! They played their parts of English dudes perfectly in their tuxes :) I had to take pictures, and here they are!

First Christmas Concert Of The Year!

The first Christmas concert of the year was a success!  Last night Mom, Dad, and I went to a Jason Grey concert that featured Lauren Daigle and Carrollton. It was super good and I enjoyed it immensely! Afterword we got to meet and take pictures with both Jason and Lauren.  Lauren is now one of my favorite artists, and her voice is so beautiful! No More Crabby Praying!

This morning I sat in a very early morning mass, which was at 7:00 AM and that is very early for me :) I was just the way I am every morning...crabby! I know it was not a coincidence that the responsorial psalm was, "Let us go rejoicing into the house of the Lord." God was able to shine through my dark cloud mood and show me that my prayer life should not be defined by my crabbiness! Even though it many times feels like we are just going through the motions, remember that God has put us where we are right now for a reason, and we were made for such a time as this. So let's have no more crabby praying :) Let us be joyful, even when we are tired ;) Love to you all! In Christ, Becky
