The Stethoscope

 This story made me me so happy! I love little kids :)

A nurse on the pediatric ward, before listening to the little ones' chests, would plug the stethoscope into their ears and let them listen to their own heart. Their eyes would always light up with awe, but she never got a response equal to four-year old David's comment. Gently she tucked the stethoscope into his ears and placed the disk over his heart. 'Listen', she said...'What do you suppose that is?' He drew his eyebrows together in a puzzled line and looked up as if lost in the mystery of the strange tap - tap - tapping deep in his chest. Then his face broke out in a wondrous grin and he asked, "Is that Jesus knocking?"

My family and I got the priviledge of having dinner with Fr. Nolan last night, and I will say he is coolest man I have ever met! You will not regret coming! Hope to see you there :)

A Morning With Mikey

This morning I awoke to Mikey's cute little face!  There is no better way to wake up in the morning then a child saying "Good morning" :) I think this is going to be a good day!

Choir Contest

So today was the choir contest for the St. Cloud Christian School! We had to be there at 8:20 AM and get on the bus. Then we drove for an hour. When we got to the high school where the contest was, we watched three choirs before we had lunch! We performed at 12:45 PM and got three superiors! The hour long bus ride back was filled with song. A very fun and long day :)

Busy Weekend

This weekend was so busy! On Friday afternoon, Mom and I went to science co-op and thank God there was no dissections :) We then hurried home to meet some friends of ours. They had invited us to a Timberwolves game! We carpooled down there and it was a blast! And don't worry, I got plenty of pictures ;)

Lets just say, I have had a very interesting day! About an hour ago, Willy called,  and being the awesome girl I am, decided to answer the phone with a very weird and not of this earth  "Hi".  Willy, taken aback by the weird greeting goes"..........um, hi".  Me, in my normal voice responds "Hi Will!"  He laughs and says "Oh it's you Becky! You just sounded like a cat purring in a sausage bowl."  Ok, thanks Will! I'll take that as a compliment :)
